Space Survival

I developed this game in Unity specifically for this portfolio. It is built on Unity’s “FPS Microgame” template, which I extended significantly in C# with new weapons and enemies, custom effects, a system of weapon and enemy strengths and weaknesses, and a new wave survival game mode with an in-game shop. I taught myself Unity throughout the project to build my skills on one of the most widely used game development platforms. The files required to play the game can be downloaded here, and the corresponding branch is available on my GitHub repository.

Space Invaders Clone

This is a Star Wars–themed Space Invaders clone I built in GameMaker using GML (GameMaker Language) during my time at Artech Camps. It can be played here in the Opera GX web browser, which is available to download here. The source files are available on my GitHub repository.

Roblox Adventure Game

I built this adventure game in Roblox, scripting it in Lua, during my first term at Artech Camps. I taught myself the platform while developing it and created video tutorials for Artech to use in future camps. I later applied what I learned from this and other Roblox projects to develop lesson plans and teach Roblox game development to campers during my second term. I also provided private Roblox tutoring in fall 2022. The game can be played here using the Roblox Player, available from the Roblox website (a Roblox account is required). The Place file (“Adventure game 2.rbxl”), which contains the game’s project data, is available on my GitHub repository and can be opened in Roblox Studio, which can be downloaded here (also requires a Roblox account).

Roblox Survival Game

This is a multiplayer, co-op horde survival game I built in Roblox, scripted in Lua, during my time at Artech Camps. It reuses many of the assets from my Roblox Adventure Game above. The game can be played here, and its Place file (“Adventure survival game.rbxl”) is available on my GitHub repository. As with the first game, a Roblox account is required, along with the Roblox Player to play and Roblox Studio to open the Place file.
